Here is a new exciting way for you to help our kitties. You choose a cat
to sponsor for one year. Each month we will mail you a picture and a short profile of the
kitty you have chosen. You decide the amount you want to send. Your monthly contribution
will be used to support your kitty...with medicine, veterinary bills, toys, bed, and
treats.
The Sponsor a Special NEADY Cat Program will focus on our long term
residents - the older cats, the cats with ongoing medical problems, and those cats that
have not been socialized enough to be considered "adoptable."
Chances are these cats will never be offered a home. Since
we are a no-kill shelter, these cats can live at the shelter for the rest of
their lives. They will receive lots of love, and all the care and comfort
they need. We need your help to do this.

1. FRYDAY, 11 years, is a large handsome male with big gold eyes. Fryday
loves to play peek-a-boo through the sisal post. He is a gentle cat who
will steal your heart. |
5. HELEN K is a one year old cutie with a mild disposition. Helen has
tested positive for the kitty AIDS virus and has limited vision. She has
her favorite places to snooze and has no trouble moving about the
shelter. Someone found Helen in her kitty crate in the middle of their
driveway. |
| 2.
COOKIE, 11 years, is a very large gentle soul who spends most of
his time snoozing on a tall sisal post. Cookie came to the shelter when
his owner died. We love him dearly and often refer to him as our "Cookie
Monster." |
6. ALMANDINE
is a two year old sweety. She has poor coordination and often falls when
she tries to walk. Almandine is a determined little girl and always
makes it to her litter box despite her physical disabilities. She purrs
very loudly and will easily steal your heart. |
|
3. CHAMPAGNE is an adorable small gray cat. She was found in a garage
behind some boxes when she was a kitten. Champagne has lost most of her
vision due to her many illnesses. She has tested positive for feline
leukemia and was recently diagnosed with diabetes. |
7. ZIGGY
is a gorgeous black female with penetrating gold eyes, a sweet
personality, and a case of very stubborn fungus on her feet. Ziggy takes
her problems in stride. Hugs and kisses are waiting whenever we see
Ziggy. |
|
4. CHARLOTTE and CLARK were rescued from an abandoned building that has
since been demolished. Both have tested positive for the kitty AIDS
virus. Charlotte is a petite brown tiger with big yellow pleading eyes.
Clark has very little vision, but has six toes on all four feet that
seem to dance along when he walks. |
8.
POOKY, 13 years, is a petite part Persian lady with a mild disposition.
She has been with us about 8 years. Her tiny front legs make it
difficult for her to get around. The ramps in the cat room really help
this girl to enjoy life. |
