The NEADY Cats have a beautiful secluded garden with bird houses, bird baths, and lots and lots of beautiful flowers. We have hummingbirds and butterflies that visit every day.

We have several benches and a quiet nook with tables and chairs. You are welcome to bring your lunch, read a book, or just sit and enjoy the wonders of nature.

The cat room windows overlook the garden and the cats love it. They all bask in the sun and watch the birds go in and out of the birdhouses, and perch at the feeders. One time we had a chipmunk that lived in a birdhouse the entire season.

NEADY Cats

Garden

Our garden is green now, but a recent storm produced a microburst that toppled some trees that fell on our garden table and chairs.

Things will be back to normal soon.

"Just living isn't enough," said the butterfly. "One must also have freedom, sunshine, and a little flower." - Hans Christian Andersen

The ceramic pot was made and donated by Susan Rouleau of South Dakota. The hair grew from a tiny two-inch pot of "mystery grass" planted in the pot. Quite a handsome guy, I'd say!

A beautiful lady living "on the edge" of our garden.

"If spring came but once in a century instead of once a year, or burst forth with the sound of an earthquake and not in silence, what wonder and expectation there would be in all hearts, to be hold the miraculous change." -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Habitat

The National Wildlife Federation has recognized our garden as an official "Backyard Wildlife Habitat."

"People and nature--our future is in the balance"  --National Wildlife Federation

"A thing of beauty is a job forever" - Milton Berle

"It isn't easy being green." --Kermit the Frog

Our garden has a Rainbow Bridge to honor the cats, dogs, and kittens who are no longer with us. The Rainbow Bridge section of our garden was designed and installed by Judy Henry of Worcester, MA, who also made the rainbow.

"A tulip doesn't strive to impress anyone. It doesn't struggle to be different than a rose. It doesn't have to. It is different. And there's room in the garden for every flower."
-
Marianne Williamson

The Solitude Garden (right) is new this season to the NEADY Cat garden. This beautiful area has a lovely arbor and is filled with hosta and astilbe. We all need quiet moments. You are welcome to come and spend some time in our "solitude garden" and feel renewed by its beauty.

Memorial Garden Critters

This summer rental is occupied by one very bold chipmunk.

This squirrel has gone to the birds (food)
