Just as there are wonderful people with special needs,
there are wonderful cats who need a
little extra care and understanding
to find their forever homes.

Sienna
The special kitty this
month is Sienna. Sienna is a chunky brown tabby lady with an
unusual "lightning strike" stripe pattern. She has a rosy
nose and is very good-tempered. Sienna was adopted out once
but returned because of "asthma." We aren't sure who had the
problem because Sienna has never shown any signs of
wheezing, sneezing or illness while at the shelter. It may
be that she was allergic to something in her first placement
home, but she seems to be fine. She is fairly aloof from the
other cats and doesn't seem to bother them nor they her. She
likes to sit and look out the window at birds and loves to
have under her chin scratched. She really deserves a second
chance at a forever home.
