In this program, you choose a cage to sponsor for a year. Each month we will mail you a picture and a short profile of the kitty in the cage you have chosen. You decide the amount you want to send. Your monthly contribution will be used to support the kitty in your cage with toys, bed, and food.

We know it will be difficult to choose from all our delightful cats and kittens.

Several other cats are not in cages, but are free to roam the cat room. Others have to be checked on frequently and are at present living with the shelter manager.

Cat Room Cages
1. OPRAH, 1 year, is a jet black lady with big gold eyes. She was found in the woods behind a house. The owner of the house was moving to New York and could not keep her. Oprah has been at the shelter for a year now. It has been hard to find a home for her because she is shy and hides whenever we have a visitor who wishes to adopt a cat. 5. TOOTSIE, 1 year, is a lovely black lady who stands tall on her big double paws. Tootsie was found sleeping on an old rocking chair in the basement of a three-decker. She was very pregnant when she arrived at the shelter. Her babies are now six weeks old. Tootsie is a great mom and very busy raising her family.
2. JAZZABELLE is a large calico lady with big gold eyes, who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. She likes to go up high on the ramps and snooze for hours, but will promptly arrive for meals and playtime. Feather toys are her favorite. 6. JASMINE, 2 years, was found scavenging food from a dumpster on a very cold night. After she was dropped off at the shelter we realized she was pregnant. Jasmine is due to have her babies in a couple of weeks. She will be a wonderful mom.
3. TOASTY, 2 years, is a sweet lady with golden eyes and beautiful fur that has both torti and tiger markings. Toasty was found outside on a cold winter day, and a kind lady brought her inside her house. No owner was ever found, and the lady could not afford to keep her. We are very happy to have Toasty as part of our NEADY Cats family. 7. LITTLE LARRY, 10 years, is our heart throb. He was born with a large hole in his heart that was repaired when he was 7 months old. Little Larry is a happy-go-lucky guy with a mild temperament and is still very much a kitten.
4. TRINA, 6 years, is a slender lady with big double paws. Trina was returned to the shelter when her owner became allergic to her. Trina was very thin when she arrived at the shelter. We could see all the bones in her hips and spine. She is now gaining weight and looks much better. We are so happy we could help Trina and give her a second chance for a home. 8. WALLY, 9 months, is an all-white boy with a smidgen of black on his head. He has deformed front legs and hops around like a little kangaroo. Wally's favorite thing is to settle in someone's lap for a snooze.
