Petting day was a great day for the shelter. We had lots of visitors giving lots of pats to the kitties. The "Let us entertain you" section at the left has pictures of the event.

Judy Wilson (above) won the door prize.

NEADY Cats Receives
Award of Excellence

NEADY Cats Sponsor Tea and Blessing in the Memorial Garden will be held August 4th. Blessing is at 10:00 AM followed by visits with the kitties. The picture above is from a previous year.

seal2a1The Independent Charities "Best in America" seal of excellence is award-ed to those mem-bers of Independent Charities of Amer-ica and Local Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. Of the one million charities operating in the US today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal of Excellence.
